Security & Compliance
We take the security, confidentiality, and integrity of client systems and data seriously. Our engineering and operational practices are designed to support secure software development, reliable hosting, and responsible handling of customer information.
Infrastructure & Hosting
Our applications and supporting infrastructure are hosted using modern cloud platforms and managed services, including DigitalOcean and Microsoft 365.
We implement standard cloud security practices including:
Encrypted HTTPS/TLS communications
Managed firewall and network security controls
Role-based access controls (RBAC)
Multi-factor authentication (MFA) for administrative accounts
Principle of least privilege for production access
Environment separation between development and production systems where appropriate
Source Code & Development Practices
Source code is maintained in private GitHub repositories with controlled access policies.
Our development workflow includes:
Branch-based development
Credential and secret management practices
Limited production access
Dependency and package management monitoring
Secure handling of API keys and integration credentials
We use modern software development tools including Visual Studio Code and AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and software quality. AI-generated code is reviewed by engineers prior to deployment.
Integrations & Automation
We use trusted third-party automation and integration platforms including Zapier and Make to support workflow automation and client integrations.
Integrations are configured using:
Restricted API credentials
Scoped permissions where supported
Encrypted transport protocols
Access controls limiting administrative access
Identity & Corporate Systems
Corporate communications and collaboration are managed through Microsoft 365.
We enforce:
Multi-factor authentication
Managed user accounts
Password and access management policies
Controlled onboarding and offboarding procedures
Data Handling
We work to minimize storage and retention of sensitive customer information whenever possible.
Where client data is processed or stored:
Access is restricted to authorized personnel
Data transmission is encrypted
Production credentials are separated from development workflows
Backups and recovery procedures are implemented where appropriate
Monitoring & Reliability
We maintain operational monitoring and logging practices designed to support:
System availability
Incident investigation
Operational troubleshooting
Backup and recovery activities
Compliance Approach
We support reasonable client security and compliance requirements and can work with customers on:
NDA and confidentiality requirements
Vendor security questionnaires
Data handling expectations
Access management procedures
At this time, we do not represent that we maintain formal certifications such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, or PCI compliance unless explicitly stated in a client agreement.
Responsible Security Practices
Security is an ongoing process. We periodically review our infrastructure, tools, integrations, and operational procedures to improve security posture and reduce operational risk.
